ABOUT ME
My name is Alice and I am a young set designer. I graduated from the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, where I specialized in movie set design.
Throughout my childhood, I have been intrigued by the world of cinematographic and theatrical representations, especially the art of creating worlds and environments that can convey narratives and stimulate emotions. This curiosity led me to pursue an academic path that allowed me to develop my technical and creative skills. Each project is a chance for me to explore new universes, blending innovation and tradition to create scenography that is not only visually appealing but also capable of engaging and communicating.
MY WORK STYLE
I am a fan of combining creative and traditional techniques in my work, such as using painted scenographic canvases, and dedicating myself to manually creating and building anything I am able to. Moreover, I am constantly paying attention to the research and recovery of second-hand materials, to optimize budget management and reduce social and ecological impact. I do this job because I love to create, build, invent and design. When I am faced with a problem, I like to look for the most suitable and effective solution, testing and experimenting with new ideas. In addition to the role of set designer, on several occasions I have also covered the role of props master, which has given me a deeper understanding of filming dynamics.
